Abstract  (help)

Students will learn that the castle was an entire community consisting of the king, queen, and his family. It was also composed of knights, servants, and even animals. Students will learn through literature, direct instruction, and explorations of Crayola Castle CD, Imagination Castles CD by Edmark. Students will be able to draw or create puppet characters to explain some the different jobs of people in the castle. A checklist with different job titles in the castle will be used with a rubric to help assess this lesson.
